Supported chains

HelaMesh currently supports USDT on two chains:

ChainStandardEst. feeEst. confirmation
BNB Smart ChainBEP20~$0.10~45 seconds
TRONTRC20~$0.30~60 seconds

Each client can configure one address per chain. A client with both a TRON and BSC address can accept payments on either network. A client with only TRON configured can only receive TRC20 USDT.

Adding a chain is a settings change

Adding a chain is as simple as filling in its address field under Settings for that client. No code changes, no new API keys. The chain picker automatically shows only chains that have been configured.

Why these two firstโ€‹

  • TRC20 (TRON) โ€” the default for Binance withdrawals in most of the world. Kenyan merchants will see this chain most often from their customers.
  • BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) โ€” cheapest of the two. Binance defaults to this when it's the cheapest withdrawal option. Great for larger transactions where the 3ร— fee difference matters.

Coming laterโ€‹

These are on the Phase 3 roadmap when real customer demand warrants them:

  • Ethereum mainnet (ERC20 USDT) โ€” higher fees but the most widely-held chain globally
  • Solana (SPL USDT) โ€” fast, cheap, popular with Western users
  • Bitcoin Lightning โ€” sub-cent fees, instant finality, but requires merchant-run nodes
